Non-contact safety switches are interlocking devices that are designed to protect people and machines. Non-contact CMS switches are used if a high level of protection against tampering much be achieved, extremely hygienic environmental conditions are required (e.g. in the food industry), a precise door guide is not possible, machine doors are subjected to heavy vibration (CMS-RH), or if a high safety category is stipulated during a risk analysis.

CMS Coded Magnet Switches


CMS-R Coded Magnet switches:

Non-contact safety switches that use specifically coded magnets to close reed contacts. Connection is with cable or M8 connector.




CMS-RH Coded Magnet switches:

>Non-contact hall effect safety switches which are free of wear and are used with coded magnets for resistance to shock and vibration.




CMS Evaluation Units


CMS-E-AR:

CMS Evaluation Units that allow for the connection of a maximum of 30 read heads.

CMS-E-AR module can achieve safety category 3 using 1 to 2 read heads and safety category 2 using 3 to 30 read heads.




CMS-E-BR, CMS-E-ER, CMS-E-FR:

CMS Evaluation Units that allow for up to 30 read heads to be attached. Have door monitoring and feedback capabilities.

CMS-E-BR module can achieve safety category 3 using 1 to 4 read heads.

CMS-E-ER module can achieve safety category 4 using 1 read head and safety category 3 using 2 to 30 read heads.

CMS-E-FR module can achieve safety category 4 using 1 read head and safety category 3 using 2 to 30 read heads. This module also has 6 monitoring outputs.
