ASO- Safety Contact Mats


ASO- Safety contact mats are used to safeguard industrial and production automation. Stepping on the mat tiggers an immediate "stop" signal to the ASO safety relay (which is needed to achieve the safety rating) in order to prevent hazardous movement of the production equipment. The ASO-Safety contact mats consist of a surface area switch which has been encased in polyurethane to ensure impermeability to water. This technique causes the mat to be especially sturdy and resistant against water, dust and other damaging factors. The mats are provided with a slip resistant surface to protect the operator. For special applications, ASO can offer an aluminium or stainless steel surface. ASO Safety Solutions offers special shapes, sizes and colors and several safety switch areas in one mat. The cost efficient standard mats have the ramp rail already integrated. This high flexibility enables ASO-Safety contact mats to meet your requirements.
